General Terms

Digilayn Platform

Specific to Layn Rider & Layn Driver
Effective Date: January 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and the owner of Layn Rider and Layn Driver (“we,” “us,” or “our”), concerning your access to and use of the Digilayn Transportation mobile applications (the “Apps”). You agree that by accessing the Apps, you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms and Conditions.

2. The Technology Platform

You acknowledge that we do not provide transportation or logistics services or function as a transportation carrier. All such transportation services are provided by independent third-party contractors (Admins and their Drivers) who are not employed by the App Owner. We offer a technology platform that enables users to arrange and schedule transportation services with third-party providers.

3. User Registration & Eligibility

Age: You must be at least 18 years of age to use the Apps.

Account: You are required to register with a unique username, email, and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

Accuracy: You agree to provide true and accurate information at all times.

4. Prohibited Activities & Termination

We reserve the right to terminate your access to the Apps immediately, without notice, for:

  • Using modified, "modded," or unauthorized versions of the Apps.
  • Attempting to reverse engineer or scrape data from the Apps.
  • Harassment, abuse, or use of profanity within the in-app chat features.
  • Fraudulent bookings or misuse of the Google Maps API features.

5. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer

"As-Is" Basis: The Apps are provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis.

Third-Party Conduct: We are not liable for the conduct, actions, or omissions of any Driver, Rider, or Admin.

Physical Risk: Use of the transportation services arranged via the Apps is at your own risk. The App Owner is not responsible for any personal injury, death, or property damage resulting from the use of third-party transportation.

Verification: The responsibility for verifying driver identities, vehicle safety, and insurance lies solely with the Admin (Company) using the platform.

6. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the App Owner operates.

1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use LaynRider and LaynDriver. We are committed to protecting your personal data and your right to privacy.

2. Information We Collect

Personal Data: We collect your name, email address, phone number, and unique username.

Location Data:

  • Riders: We collect GPS data to facilitate pickup requests and booking accuracy.
  • Drivers: We collect background location data. This means we track your location even when the app is closed or not in use, provided you have set your status to "Active/Online." This is necessary so Riders can track your approach in real-time.

Communication Data: We store chat logs between Riders and Drivers via Google Firebase.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To facilitate the connection between Riders and Drivers.
  • To allow Admins (the companies managing drivers) to oversee their fleet.
  • To resolve disputes or reports of harassment.
  • To ensure the technical functionality of the Apps via Google Firebase and Google Maps APIs.

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

  • Google Firebase: Our primary database and authentication provider.
  • Google Maps: Used for navigation and location rendering.
  • Admins: Driver data and location are shared directly with the Admin who registered the driver.
  • Legal Requirements: We may share data if required by law or to protect the safety of our users.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

Retention: Upon account deletion, user data is archived for a period of 180 days to comply with safety protocols and legal dispute requirements before being permanently purged from Firebase.

Ownership: While data is stored on our Firebase instance, user-generated profile pictures and chat content remain the property of the user, though we retain the right to access this data for moderation and safety purposes.

6. Security

We implement standard security measures provided by Google Firebase to protect your data. However, no electronic transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure.
